Babette Rothschild - The Body Remembers
Therapy for trauma does not necessarily mean you have to talk about the traumatic event(s). It might be valuable to explore how your past experience is affecting you NOW. We can start by addressing where remnants of your trauma pop up in your life - in your body, your relationships, your self-talk, your thoughts, your sense of self, and your view of the world for example. We will go at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, all while listening and responding to the wisdom of your body and nervous system.
If you're wondering "is this for me?", you're welcome to read my letter to you here:
I enjoy sharing my learnings and insights with others in training.
Topics I can present on include:
Trauma-Informed Practice, Self-Care, Mental Health, High Sensitivity, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga for yoga teachers and/or therapists.
If you are looking for specific training or consulting for your business, I'd love to discuss this further with you.

Research has shown about 15-20% of people classify as a 'Highly Sensitive Person", or HSP. Being highly sensitive offers many positive and expansive experiences, and it can also pose specific challenges.
I have worked hard on understanding my own sensitivity and how to set up my life and environment to suit my needs in a way that allows me to thrive. I can support you on your HSP journey of understanding and appreciating your sensitivity, regulating your nervous system, and making changes where needed.
Stay tuned for a detailed section about high sensitivity on this page. Until then, feel free to browse the website of Elaine Aron, the researcher who originally coined the 'Highly Sensitive Person' term:
